We love scootering and the pro scooters industry here are Pro Scooter Shop!  The riders are sick, the products continue to evolve and the fans are intense!  The companies behind the products have great stories, so we thought we'd write a quick story on one of these companies...Madd Gear Pro or MGP. Stating the obvious but as you know, freestyle pro scootering is a high risk sport.  The tricks that you see the professionals do are practiced over and over.  And even they miss every once in a while!  While there's no equipment that will protect you 100%, there are must haves.  Last post was about scooter helmets, which should be a requirement. Next up would be scooter elbow pads and scooter knee pads.  Both serve a similar purpose; protecting these extremities of our bodies that always take a beating from falls. Pro Scooter shop - a quick follow up to our last post about scooter safety.  I had a couple questions about helmets and specifically how to measure.  Great question.  Here's a link to a helmet sizing guide, albeit for cycle helmets.  How to measure doesn't change for pro scooters.  :)  Each scooter helmet should come with sizing, but the best way to ensure a correct fit is to visit a scooter shop, like ours in Redmond, WA, and try them on.
