When buying anything, whether it is scooter parts, or anything else in this world, you want to be educated on whatever it is that you are looking to buy! If your old scooter bars are bent, broken, cracked or are just not quite the right size for you, then you are going to want to invest in some new ones. However, before you do that, it is important to know the ins and outs of scooter bars.

Scooter bars come in all different shapes and sizes. Some come equipped with back sweep and/or down sweep, while others have no sweep at all. These differences in bar styles can change the overall look and feel of your scooter. Some of the more unique styles of scooter bars out there include BMX style bars, which can come with back sweep and/or down sweep for all of you riders out there that are into the BMX look and feel! Other styles of Bars are designed with gussets for extra support and a more unique look. The key is to figure out what style of scooter bars you like the most and then you can find out which brands make that style of bars. Be sure that whichever bars you do end up choosing to purchase are available in the size that you need, depending on what compression system you are running. Also, getting bars that are the right dimensions for you is crucial, so be sure to know what height and width you prefer.
